Breaking Good – Making Molecules That Matter

Breaking Good is an international citizen science initiative. It empowers high school students to be active researchers on projects that improve human health —more info on Breaking Good and MycetOS.

High school students either work in their school laboratories or the University of Sydney’s chemistry lab to make molecules for drug discovery that could potentially treat neglected diseases such as Mycetoma and Malaria.

Recently, Y12 students from NSW made 12 different compounds as part of their High School Certificate Depth Study.
